Sa September pa daw ang release ng iPhone sa Pinas by Globe.
And cyempre, tatagain tayo nyan, postpaid plan.

mura na, bili na kayo, tapat na tapat na yan wala nang tawad lrayt:Pixelated wrote:READ LINKThe crowd cheered when Jobs announced the iPhone 3G will sell for $199 with eight gigabytes of memory. Apple will charge $299 for a model with 16 gigabytes of memory.
That's good news for most and bad news for some...that means the iPhone will now be found EVERYWHERE after July 11 (iPhone 2nd-Gen launch date)

The $199 and $299 price point is WITH a 2-year service agreement sa AT&T. No more prepaid iPhones allowed.kLuMzi wrote:todo patiii!! lrayt:boddah wrote:pag natuloy yung 199USD price nyan magiging pambansang phone to ng pinas pusta ko lang
Once someone purchases the iPhone 3G, it must be activated at once at the Apple or AT&T store and must be activated with a $30/month unlimited data plan.
No quoted pricing on the no-contract iPhone 3G yet.
[buti nalang old iPhone subscirbers can update to the new iPhone 3G without reinstating the 2-year contract...I might get the 8GB, WOOHOO!]

:loops:

Galing talaga ng Globe!
May stake kasi ang SingTel sa Globe (44.5% share) ang all of SingTels investment telecoms (Optus of Australia, Bharti of India, and Telkomsel of Indonesia) will carry the iPhone 3G.

Most of the features of the iPhone 3G were carried over from the existing iPhone...

oh btw, did u know that Apple's releasing the I-Phone also as a bare unit? I read this in a yahoo article that no postpaid 8GB I-Phone will cost users $599
while 16GB I-Phone costs $699? this seems to be a big OUCH to us hopeful I-Phone buyers..

they really need to fix the sms feature of Iphone kung walang third app sa iphone like SMSD bulok ang pagtetext sa Iphone. And napaka anti piracy ng Apple ni hindi ka pwede mag send ng any files via bluetooth.

You can't forward SMS messages on the iPhone...cant send MMS too...dang!
Kaya pag may natanggap akong MMS, tanggalin ko yung SIM sa iPhone at isalpak ko sa Nokia or Sony Ericsson ko...annoying, but thats the only way.

You also can't tell how many character's you've used up when texting, unless you get SMSD etc...
Still... a revolutionary device, nobody can deny that.
