Flat Panels: LCD LED Plasma

Let's talk about anything about video games, no matter what platform it is. What is your favorite game? Who is your favorite character? What are the recently released games? What is DLC (downloadable content)? How do I beat this boss? How do I set up my team?

 upgraded from 32inch sony bravia KDL-32V300A to 42inch full hd 1080p Sony KDL-42W674A BRAVIA Internet Multisystem LCD/LED Backlight Module. It comes with free dvd player/amplifier, 5.1 surround sound and subwoofer. Great for movies and... honestly kinda overkill size for gaming because IMO 32inch is super perfect for gaming, i was very comfortable with the 32incher, grabe naninibago ako dito sa 42, minsan nahihilo ako kaunti pag naglalaro ako malapit sa screen pero i'll get the hang of it :2thumbs: , especially i'm all set for ps4 gaming in the future :cheer:

BUT i'm not yet really interested/don't want a ps4 yet.

yeah, I'd get the bigger screen, unless my room was very small

Guys, i need your advice regarding full hd tvs. I am planning to buy a new one. Full hd as much as possible ang gusto ko. I am currently using a 24 inch lcd tv which I bought 3 years ago, kaya medyo excited na rin makapaglaro sa mas malaking tv. I am considering three options right now:

1) 32 inch full hd Sony W700b, the one with X-reality Pro (has a refresh rate of 200hz) cash price: Php24,000.

2) 40 inch R470B, Sony's 40 inch tv without X-reality Pro (has a refresh rate of 100hz) cash price: Php27,000.

3) Sharp's 40 inch LE448m (has a refresh rate of 60hz) cash price: Php23,000.

Sa sala ko ito ilalagay and the viewing distance is 6-8 feet. My budget for the tv is up to 27,000. I have checked the following AV stores: Western, Robinsons, and Abensons. After reading this thread, I think I have to visit Sights & Sounds sa Shang.

Thanks. :)

Don't be misled by the refresh rate on the w700b, it's still 60hz, only the w8 series has the motionflow for 2014 models but this is a smart TV compared to the other ones you posted

Please note that sights and sounds is no longer located in shangrila (for the moment)
that wing in shangrila is being renovated from what sir vic (owner) says. But he still maintains his threads at pinoydvd and does cash on delivery orders.

Same competitive prices and still same awesome after sales service and support. Yun nga lang. COD basis for now since wala syang facility to accept cc payments and di ka makakapag side by side audition.

thanks bro. I'm wondering kung maganda nga ba talaga ang effect ng X-reality pro engine na ito when it comes to gaming? napansin ko lang ito sa w600 na 40in.na nakademo (walang demo yung w700) na itinabi sa R470B. Both tvs are manufactured by Sony pero yung R470B walang X-R Pro engine. Both are 40in. tvs. Yung may XR Pro mas maganda (parang totoo/ life like) yung kulay.

since gusto mo mas malaki.

Triluminous looks awesome although a bit expensive, X-Reality Pro is the name Sony gives to its display technology

Im still not sure what to buy. Parehong panalo yung w700b and R470b kung ang budget is less than Php30,000. Yung w700b maganda lahat -features and aesthetics. :P
