Mighty No. 9 Animated Series Announced
Mighty No. 9 is getting a CG-animated series that will be produced by Digital Frontier, a company that does production work on motion pictures, games, TV shows, exhibitions and more. The series is planned for release in 2016, and is described as an “action-packed comedy aimed at kids 6-11â€.
Digital Frontier are currently in talks with partners to decide upon the series’ showrunner and director. Animation production for the series will be managed in-house at Digital Frontier itself.
Digital Frontier say they’re currently planning a simultaneous worldwide release for the show, but territory-specific details have yet to be announced.

Mighty No. 9 Videos Demonstrate Beck’s Basic Actions And Absorb Ability
Comcept have shared new gameplay footage of Mighty No. 9, explaining how Beck’s in-game actions work, starting with the basics of of running and jumping and shooting.
Basic Action

Absorb Ability
Once you’ve weakened the enemy with a few shots, dashing into them triggers your Absorb ability, which lets you absorb their Xel—the parts robots are built out of in the Mighty No. 9 universe. This ability is exclusive to Beck, meaning Call won’t have it.
Director Koji Imaeda says that you’ll need to be careful while attempting to absorb Xel from enemies. If they aren’t sufficiently weakened, you’ll end up taking damage, and this damage is actually greater than the amount of damage you would take on average. There’s a pushback when this happens, too, so if there are any pit nearby, you’ll find yourself knocked back into them.
In the same update where they detail the above mechanics, Comcept also delve into the making of Mighty No. 2, show off a work-in-progress stage where enemies take advantage of the dark, and say they will soon provide clarification and further details on Mighty No. 9’s second crowdfunding campaign, which they recently launched.

In a “Happy New Year†message posted to YouTube, Comcept and Inti Creates briefly show off footage of another stage from Mighty No. 9.
In the lead, project lead Keiji Inafune states that development of Mighty No. 9 is “pretty much finished†and the game is now in the stage where it’s being ported to the various platforms it will be released on.
Mighty No. 9 will be released this year on PC, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The PlayStation 4 retail edition will include a DLC for a new stage and boss, a double-sided poster, and an art booklet. The PlayStation 4 collector's edition will include a 6.5" figurine of Beck and a foil signature from Inafune on the box for US$59.99. The collector's edition is only available in North America.
cross buy.....Finally, the blog announced that the game will support Cross-Buy on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, meaning players can get the game on all three consoles when buying one edition. This is applicable to both physical and digital editions.
