hmmm
re: Assasin's Creed and Splinter Cell
Well it's kinda expected. Some game devs at times re-used some old animations. Remember the last COD game re-used old animation for their final scene? I think it's a common practice in the industry. Which shouldn't be a major concern for everybody. I'm not defending Ubisoft though.

We're not talking about simply reusing assets/animations here, but taking a lot of typical 'Ubi' game design choices.deathzero23 wrote:hmmm

For example, three different ubi games use a similar approach in opening up missions and content within the map:
1. Assassin's Creed - you need to scale a high point to 'synchornize'
2. Far Cry 3 - climbing radio towers
3. Watch_Dogs - infiltrate control centers
The problem is it gets tiring, and people get 'Ubi fatigue' from what seemingly is a re-skin of a typical ubi game mechanic, or some similar mission design. Some people won't mind, but for me, it is already too familiar. I didn't finish Far Cry 3 because I had Ubi fatigue. That is not to say that what Ubi does is bad, but just that it gets tiring, for me at least. At least based on reviews, there's a fair amount of crazy stuff to do in Watch_Dogs to make things seem 'fresh' but I just can't slog my way through an Ubi game anymore, so I'm taking an Ubi break, which is why I'll probably get this game used.

Average score is 8 on most review sites. Ok na rin sa presyo na P2195 for PS3 Standard Day 1 (less P95 kapag cash).

well i get your point regarding Ubi Fatigue. To think Ubi spent like 4 years developing this game and they come up with recycled game design choices. Yeah I understand that. I'll be pissed off a bit. Maybe Ubi is kinda playing it safe in game developing standpoint. Like, "we used this, use that and add little of this and it's an all new game." lol
I haven't played any AC series. My only Ubi game is Splinter Cell Blacklist. And old SC games on older consoles.
anyway, i saw the graphics comparison between current and next gen. The comparison is just like MGS Ground Zeroes. PS4 has better lighting and object details. PS3 still looks good. Less lighting though.
Regardless of the criticism, it's not a bad game rating it's getting... averaging 8/10 at most
Reminds me of MG Rising. Many are disappointed due to a short campaign yet it scores almost near perfect on most game reviews.

so you're a bit pissed at ubisoft for taking elements from their other games which you haven't even played - game elements that you haven't even experienced yet. if an idea worked before, and it makes sense to use it again on a different game, i'm all for it. same with how they used far cry 3's crafting system on ac4. same as how they expanded naval warfare from ac3 to ac4.deathzero23 wrote:well i get your point regarding Ubi Fatigue. to be fair to ubisoft, their latest entries on their franchises have been well-received - far cry 3, ac4, and sc: blacklist. so it's not really a bad idea on their part to use elements of these games on other games knowing that they have worked before and using them makes sense on the new game's context.

In addition to this, if I claimed the codes in my r3 account... will my r1 account be able to use the dlc as well? I've been playing the campaign in my r1 account and forgot my copy was r3. It would be troublesome to start all over again. Thanks!crycec wrote:yes I've tried it a few times too... kaasar nga eh...superawts wrote:Mukhang di pa gumagana mga codes, siguro after a few hours!
