hahaha! nagsimula na! since becoming somewhat active there, nakaka dalwang palit na ako ng AVR, apat na palit ng LED, napabili ng isang 2TB HDD at isang media player.

and what i have is literally basura compared to most of what folks have there!

Nagpademo din kayo ng LG nung bumili ka TV? Natest mo na ser yung mkv movies with DTS surround thru USB port with external drive? nka receiver ka ba? nadetect ba thru hdmi/otpical out? movie fan kasi ko ser at balak ko rin kasi instead na bumili ako ng media player after nabusted yung xtreamer pro ko.. Still thinking kung LG or Sammy.. got advise also from Sir Vic from SnS.. Thanks in advance

I actually came from an lg led prior to getting this one. Yes im using a receiver, and yes, the unit plays mkv through its usb port from my 2tb hdd. Yes sir, i also have it plugged to my receiver via optical out. Wala siyang hdmi out. Mejo ok na rin yung built in media player nya. Wala pa akong file na na encounter that it hasnt played properly. If you are gonna get a dedicated media player though, i suggest egreat. :)

OK thanks, ako din optical out kasi hindi HD receiver yung sakin. usually kasi pag nka receiver, source>receiver>TV ang connection. Interested talaga ko dun sa DTS surround kasi mostly yun yung audio codec ng movies. :)
