Microsoft’s Albert Penello who earlier revealed some details on the Xbox One GPU boost and the Kinect IR Blaster, has clarified rumours about a 12GB RAM upgrade on the Xbox One.
It’s not going to happen, he says. This was one of the most absurd rumours that was floating around, mainly because changing such a thing so late in the development process didn’t make sense. Both the PS4 and Xbox One have 8GB RAM each.
“Glad you all like headset. We’re not going to 12gb, just to be clear. Feeling great about game performance – stuff is looking killer,†he tweeted.
The Xbox One’s performance is quite good and it looks like Microsoft are satisfied with it. We will keep you updated once we hear more on this.
