Let's talk about anything about video games, no matter what platform it is. What is your favorite game? Who is your favorite character? What are the recently released games? What is DLC (downloadable content)? How do I beat this boss? How do I set up my team?
Blizzard Entertainment has announced it’s bringing Diablo III to both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 through a “strategic partnership†with Sony, through which they “will take over the world.â€
“One of the things people don’t really know about Blizzard is that we actually go our start as a console game development shop,†said Blizzard senior VP of story and franchise development Chris Metzen. “You could say that console game development really is just in our blood.
“All these years, we’ve really played on the PC side of the street. We’ve held a deep desire to get back into the mix and to bring console players some of the home-cooked imagination and adventure that we love to develop.â€
The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Diablo III will be based on the PC version, including all of the latest upgrades, such as the Paragon leveling system, customizable Monster Power, Brawling, and Legendary items.
Blizzard is developing an “intuitive control scheme†and “new dynamic camera perspective†that aims to “make questing and combat in the world of Sanctuary feel like second nature on PlayStation platforms,†as well. The game will offer single-player, four-player online, and local co-op modes.
“Diablo III looks and plays great on the PlayStation,†said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We put a lot of care and thought into the PlayStation version to make sure it would deliver an authentic Diablo gaming experience, and we’re really pleased with the results. We can’t wait for players to try it out at PAX East.â€

Oo nga. But even then, if you already have the PC version, not much incentive to get this. Sana may dinagdag man lang sila to make gamers think about getting this too.
"You can have four people on the same screen - no split-screen, we just zoom the camera out. Or if you're offline..."
The suggestion seemed to be that you could play four-player same-screen co-op offline with friends.
Keighley was expressing his surprise at the new evade system Hight mentioned for Diablo 3 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Hight didn't go into too much detail but suggested that it will allow you to hop out of the way enemies.
The always online requirement of Diablo 3 on PC/Mac helped preserve the integrity of the Auction House and, more importantly, the Real-Money Auction House. Whether either will exist PlayStation isn't known.
The PS4 version of Diablo 3 may have offline co-op, no word on PC equivalent
In a video which has now been removed from YouTube (via the RPS forums), a Blizzard rep announced the addition of offline, shared-screen co-op to the PlayStation 4 port of Diablo 3. Whether this is strictly co-op, or will allow single-player offline as well, wasn’t specified, but it seems odd that offline play would be present and restricted to co-op. There’s no word on whether the feature will make it to PC, and Blizzard tells PC Gamer that it is not yet ready to share anything on the subject.
Offline play has been a highly-requested feature among Diablo 3 players since before release, with its always online model presenting one of the largest controversies in a story that has had more than its share—the infamous “Error 37″ connection failure that plagued launch is up there among the most recognizable memes in PC gaming.
Early interviews with Blizzard seemed to suggest that always online was a decision made in order to give us the best version of the game possible. If the PS4 version really has offline co-op, we have to wonder why they’re allowed to have “not the best version†and we aren’t. The most obvious assumption is piracy concerns.
^ kung titignan mo ang panget talaga ng always online model lalu na sa isang game na ang pinaka selling point ay single play. pero di mo rin masisisi ang mga developers na gawing always online kung maluluge lang naman sila sa pamimirata.

I understand why Blizzard felt they had to make the game always online. But if Blizzard is planning on having a offline mode for the console. They should bring the same feature to the PC version.
