eh halos lahat naman siguro ng bibile ng ps4 ay dumaan muna sa ps3 di ba? eh saka sa ganda ng ps3 hinde basta basta mawawala yan. kung si tatay ps2 nga kaka lisan lang yata last year eh. eh halos may edad na din si ps3 nun.
paulet ulet mga dahilan ng iba na di sila bibile ng ps4 or xbox 720 as if naman kaya nilang gawin yun na hinde sila bumile, kesyo walang pre owned games, walang backward compatibility ek ek.
Siguro dito pumapasok yung nangyari sa PS2. Nung nirelease siya, may backward compatibility. Same case with the PS3 at launch, so people are expecting.
Personally, ayoko rin ng may backward compatibility as it adds to the total cost/price of a console. Siguro may mga tao lang na gusto ng one-box-play-all. Basta ako, I will buy this day one kung 20-25k lang. Pag umabot ng 30k baka wait muna ako ng 6 months, though it pains me to pass up on Killzone: Shadow Fall!

It all boils down to preference, may iba-ibang reason ang mga gamers regarding b/c. Merong gusto lang talaga ng all-in-1, merong ayaw ng maraming electronics sa room. Meron namang tinatamad mag on/off/ligpit ng ibang console everytime when playing other gen games. Bukod diyan may mga console gamer na binebenta muna nila yung previous ulit nila to add funds for the new console. My minor reason is, my PSN games. So the moment na mawala na sa market ang PS3 (and nasira yung unit ko) wala na akong access to those said games in case I had the urge to replay the game again. Kaya may personal preference is, much better if it has backwards compatibility. Even if I shell out 25% more because of the additional hardware needed (not sure kung ganito kalaki yung price ng PS3 emulation since mura lang ang Emotion Engine ng PS2 and AFAIK walang additional hardware requirement ang PS1 games).

yup, I see kanya kanyang reason yan, kagaya nung isang comment galing sa ibang site, maliet daw ang room nya kaya ayaw nyang may extrang console pa sa room nya, tapos kinakahon na daw nya ang lumang console pag may bago na, kaya gusto nya isang gen console sa isang console.
and I agree to you about the urge to play again the last gen game, kung wala na sa market ang ps3 yun ang mahirap.
pero kung may backward compatibility nga ang console It adds sa magandang feature nya kesa sa wala. kaso malabo na yun, unless gawin ng microsoft sa 720 nila at dumami ang sales nila dahil dun, baka mapilitan gayahin ng sony.
hirap lang kase dun sa iba nagsasabe pa ng di na sila bibile ng ps4 dahil dun, pero may ps3 sila, ang malamang na sa wala ng BC ang ps3 nila unless isa yun sa mga early laucnh ps3 ang sa kanila. sigurado nagrereklamo din sila nun sa ps3 dahil walang BC ng ps2, pero nagka ps3 pa din sila.
