My Topic for discussion is regarding the upcoming season. As we all can see the Rainy Season has arrived in the Philippines, for long, we don't know. Only Global warming can tell  Brownouts are very common this season. A very annoying nuisance for us people who love the comfort and leisure brought to us by technology.
But to us PS3 owners, it is something very scary. To us a sudden brownout while playing can spell death to our beloved PS3. That is why I made this thread to help our fellow PinoyPS players gather info about UPS.
If anybody can share the following information, it would be very much appreciated:
1. Where can we buy a UPS? And how much do they cost?
2. Any specified VA for PS3? (please state the VA for each model, the Slim, fat and the new Slim)
3. Proper usage or tips for the UPS
4. Is it worth buying? IMO it is, cos if you get to spend 5,000 Php to save your 20,000Php, doesn't that seem reasonable enough?
Thanks in advance to all who would answer and share their opinions! :agree:

I say yes, you never know with those unpredictable storms/typhoons/occassional rains

Ano ba naman yung mga mag-skip ka ng at least 1 or 2 games for an UPS (which you can use for a year or more). Better be safe than sorry.

For peace of mind narin habang naglalaro tsaka pwede pa mag electric fan or magcharge ng cellphone pag brown-out. :bigmouth:

It's definitely a convenient thing to have and if you're looking for some peace of mind against brownouts then get one. Also, if the budget allows it, get one.
