Games You Double Dipped Or More

What games have you procured multiple times and why?

I used to have two mint copies of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX. Both are black label. Sold my extra copies though. I got two because I bought a Final Fantasy PlayStation collection from a member here in PinoyPS when it was still called PinoyPSX.

I used to have two copies of Metal Gear Solid 3. One is the vanilla version and the other the Subsistence version. I also sold the vanilla version. Same thing happened with MGS2 vanilla version and the Substance versions for PC and PS2. I also have two copies of MGS1 for PC and PSX. Sold the PC version which I still regret to this day.

I currently have two copies of Dead Space for PS3 and PC Steam. I got the PC version due to the EA Humble Bundle. Same thing happened with Battlefield 3 because of PS+ and the EA Humble Bundle. Next is Vanquish which I got for both retail and PS+.

What are yours?

I got Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance. Sold the vanilla version.

I got Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence. Sold the Subsistence version because it can't read my save.

I got Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. Sold the SE because it can't read my save so I'm back to square 1.

I got Resident Evil 4 for GameCube. I still bought the Wii version primarily for the PS2 extras.

I have The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker for GameCube. I plan on getting the HD version when I hopefully got the extra credits to buy Wii U.

I got Gears of War for the Xbox 360, then it was scratched by the console so I bought another copy. Good thing it was cheap already.

Metal Gear Solid 4 (R1) which is also included in the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection (R1)
Red Dead Redemption (R1) and the GOTY (R2).

may just sell the vanilla ones because i'm not really a collector

MGS1 for PC is the best MGS1 version ever as far as content is concern. (let alone MGSTTS on Gamecube)

GTA IV.
Nung una ko kinuha yun, nde pa ako interested sa mga trophies kaya tinapos ko lang yun story then binenta ko na.
Then may nang-enganyo sa akin mag-collect ng trophies kaya bumili ako ulit ng GTA IV para ma-plat ko... at binenta ko ulit afterwards.

COD MW3 both for Xbox 360 and PS3. )

I'm a COD addict. My main console is the 360 and at that time I'm curious on how fast a game match and latency there is on the PS3. When I tried it on the PS3, multiplayer connections are superb simply because Pinas and should I say the rest of Asia is a Playstation country kaya game matches are being searched "locally". Xbox 360 too follows that route pero the Xbox is King only in the US and just some parts of Asia and JPN plus Philippines. Pag tulog ang Asia sa COD, my game matches are being routed to the US which translates to bad latency hehehe (yellow bars).

Considered double dipping ba pag kinuha pati ang HD o remake editions? I think yes. So double dipped ang God of War 1 at Resident Evil 1 ko.

Another game is Castlevan8a SOTN. Purchased the Xbox Live Arcade game mainly to check out the achievements and the leaderboards. Got addicted in the process )

This is correct. Got mine for just 500 pesos from some person I met up with in Makati. One of the few things I regret selling. It also came with the box. Damn it!

Double dipped only 1 game so far (combined MGS2 and MGS3, the Essential Collection for the PS2 and the HD Collection for the PS3) but that might change once Trails in the Sky SC releases. Support XSEED!
