I'm really excited for this one, and very worried at the same time. Cause if they pull another "region lock", I'm gonna flip out.
Still nice to see more Persona.

I think the only reason why they put a region lock on Persona 4 Arena was because the game supported dual language and that they were released almost simultaneously. Also, it's a fighting game so there's no language barrier. P5 will be different.

Part of it was the main reason. Games are more expensive in Japan and Japanese gamers knew that importing is a much cheaper option.TurnBased wrote:I think the only reason why they put a region lock on Persona 4 Arena was because the game supported dual language and that they were released almost simultaneously. On topic, looks like P5 will have the dark theme that other Persona/SMT games has. I'm really hyped.

Eh, hope so. I'm also a bit worried for story elements.TurnBased wrote:I think the only reason why they put a region lock on Persona 4 Arena was because the game supported dual language and that they were released almost simultaneously. With the theme and all, I'd be great if they were more inclusive and diverse with the characters, but that's just me.

Talaga namang next year pa labas nito sa US eh. Ang tanong eh kelan lalabas eto sa Japan, kung this year ba, baka kasi kung mapush pa sa Japan sa 2015 eh matatagal tagal pa ang US version baka maging late 2015 or early 2016 pa labas nya.
Loneliness has followed me my whole life. There's no escape. I'm God's lonely man.

Today’s issue of Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun includes a surprise advertisement for Persona 5 and the Persona Super Live concert.
“Advance notice: Tonight I will appear in Nippon Budokan,†the advertisement reads. It’s signed, “The Phantom.â€
Nippon Budokan is, of course, the venue of the concert.
In the center of the advert, we see a character wearing a white mask. We’re not sure who he is, but given the previous concert teaser visual, it’s likely the protagonist of Persona 5.
In the lower left corner, we see the text, “Persona 5 begins.â€
To the right, we see the magic hat-wearing fireball-thing and “Take Your Heart†text that appeared in the “News Flash! Persona Channel 2015†live stream earlier.
The Persona live stream is still ongoing. Another unannounced event is planned for 10:30 p.m. EST tonight, and a final unannounced event (heaviy suggested to be Persona 5-related) is planned for tomorrow morning after 7:00 a.m. EST.
