According to the source, Activision confirmed the release next year but they did not comment any further regarding any details.

Considering na Bluray naman ang PS3, bakit di nalang nila salpakan ng hundreds of songs and sell them at a higher price than making a new game every quarter na konti lang naman ang additional features?

Activision has yet to confirm, but Kiss' Gene Simmons has confirmed his involvement in the title by stating that he "is the voice of Guitar Hero 6".
In an interview with ITN Productions' Game On programme, Gene Simmons confirmed, time and again, that he "is the voice of Guitar Hero 6".
Although it's probably no surprise that Activision are still milking this cash cow, the game is still in its financial planning stages according to the presenters of the show.
With no comment from Activision, and only the ramblings of a Jewish rocker in make-up, it's hard to know who to believe. Either way, we have no doubt we'll see Guitar Hero 6, and we're pretty sure Gene wouldn't be making it up.

what's the point of coming out with another game? they already come out with weekly DLCs, and that makes sure the game is played for a long time. plus they make money on the DLCs anyways
what else can they change in the game?

I think Activision is in a league of its own now.
But seriously, do we really need ANOTHER Guitar Hero? You guys already killed off RedOctane, what's left of this franchise?

i would rather them just release one game and then yung songs bili ka na lang every week

just like Rock Band...
one thing lang sa ganung mechanics,ang bilis maluma ng dating ng game lalo na yung graphics at characters...pero sa tracks,panalo pa din Rockband over GH,maganda lang sa GH every new game may bagong pakulo nanaman.
