If meron kayo family overseas or if you just want to text for free, this is a very good app! Heywire yung pangalan nung app. Yun gamit ko ngayon and so far, sa lahat ng free text messaging apps, siya yung pinaka reliable.
Free yung text to any mobile carrier sa Pilipinas. Ang major draw back is pag nagreply sila through the app, ang charges would be international texting rate so ang ginagawa namin ng fiance ko is I text her using the app tapos ang reply niya papadala niya sa regular globe number ko na naka roaming. That way, we bypass the international text rates.
So far mas eliable to kesa sa chikka. Honestly, ok sana yung chikka kaya lang ang daming times na down yun, madalas hindi nakukuha yung mga text na sinesend ko and madalas naman na hindi niya nakukuha yung reply kasi the moment you exit the app, mag disconnect na din siya. Unlike yung heywire na maski closed yung app basta active yung wifi/3g connection mo, tatanggap siya ng messages or replies without eating up the battery.
So yeah, sa mga gusto maka libre ng text but at the same time gusto niyo reliable enough, definitely try Heywire. So far 1 month ko na straight gamit yun dito sa US and kung mga 5k pesos lang meron na ko na save in terms of globe prepaid load.
