don't know if this was posted before, pero, for BayanDSL users, meron tayong Speed On-demand that we can access from 10PM - 10AM. sakin, nagd-double speed ng internet ko pag ginagamit ko to, minsan umaabot ng 500+ kbps. by the way, my DSL plan is 256 kbps.

to activate it, just append @sod to you PPPoE username, and that's it!

Hehe dagdag pa diyan na ngayon nag upgrade na ng speed ang BayanDSL. Email them na or call them para ma up DSL speed niyo. Yung maka nakaplan 899 na dati 384 lang ang speed and ang SOD ay 768kbps. Ngayon 768kbps na standard speed and 1280kbps na kapag SOD.

sir my contract with smartbro is about to expire na now, i would like to get your opinion or suggestion which provider should i choose and what plan (preferably 1k+ budget) for ps3 online gaming?

the isp should have the ff (more or less close):

3. to be able to make use of portforwarding
4. bonuses say free printer, monthly service fee, etc.

^ Parang PLDT DSL ang bagsak mo niyan archangel_1680. Most of the options you specified up there ay meron sila. Portforwarding, fast video streaming/DLing, free printer (depends on the package), etc..

1. Mabagal
2. Late dumating ang bills (2 months minsan)
3. Customer service hindi maganda
4. Once na madisconnect, 2 weeks bago marestore ang connection
5. No rebate kahit fault nila kung bakit hindi mo nagamit internet mo

sa akin i experienced 1, 3 & 4... TEXT SPEAK VIOLATION rebate ko non pinaglaban ko at sinisindak ko talaga sila kasi minsan kapag goody goody ka iisahan ka nila binalik naman almost 800 na-rebate ko... pero i'm fully decided na lumipat na talaga! just thinking kung alin sa 3: pldt, globe or bayantel...

Pinagpilitan ko yung rebate last year. Kahit dun sa mismong wireless center nila kinausap ko yung customer rep nila. Pero wala daw sila magagawa since yung billing nila ang nagdecide not to give rebate. Kabadtrip!

Let me add, simula pa pala nung nag-apply ako sa Smart ng internet nila. Almost 6 months nilang hindi pina-followup yung application ko until I decide na kontakin yung isang agent nila sa TPC. Siya ang naglakad ng application ko then after 2 weeks, kinabitan ako.

Compared to Globe na 3 days lang after filling an application, kinabitan na ako. Yun nga lang, hindi sila pumayag na ipangalan sa akin yung billing statement since hindi ako nakapangalan dun sa proof of billing na hiningi nila sa akin during filling.
