Gravity Rush Remastered Releasing in February for North America

At the Sony Tokyo Game Show Press Conference this morning, Gravity Rush Remastered was announced for a December release in Japan on the PlayStation 4 system. Thankfully, we now have confirmation that the game will also be coming to North America on February 9, 2016. The game is a remaster of the PlayStation Vita game, and includes three DLC packs: the Spy Pack, The Maid Pack, and The Military Pack.

Oo nga eh...ako naman I would have liked it more sa Vita kasi it makes use of a lot of the Vita's features but having it on the os4 would definitely push the franchise into new heights.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game is remastered by Bluepoint Games and runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second. There are visual improvements all around, and all the downloadable content released for the PS Vita version is included on the disc.

Gravity Rush Remastered will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 10, in North America on February 9, and in Europe on February 10.

In addition to Gravity Rush Remastered coming to PS4 in February next year, Gravity Rush 2 is also coming to North America, exclusively on PS4.

Kat can now use three gravity styles that add more variety and combat options: Normal, Lunar, and Jupiter.

In Lunar style, the force of gravity is reduced, making Kat lighter and quicker. In Jupiter style, gravity is increased, slowing down Kat’s movements but making her more powerful. You can switch between Kat’s three gravity styles seamlessly to combine the styles into different combos for each situation.

Also new to Gravity Rush 2 is the Tag Battle system which pairs you up with an AI-controlled ally to take on the more serious opposition like Raven assisting Kat.

The game will launch in North America on December 2nd, and in Europe on November 30th.

Those who pre-order the game from participating retailer will also get an alternate white costume DLC for Kat, and a Director’s Choice Soundtrack from the game. PlayStation Store pre-orders will also grant a special PS4 theme.

The special Anime Gravity Rush: The Animation ~ Overture ~ will also be released “prior to the launch of Gravity Rush 2.”

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that Gravity Rush 2 will be delayed to January 18th, 2017 in Europe, January 19th in Japan and January 20th in North America.

The announcement mentions that the team wants to release the game “at the very best time,” also to make sure that as many players as possible play the asynchronous online feature at the same time.

To make it up for the wait, we’ll get the story DLC planned for the game free of charge, instead of having to pay as it was originally intended.
