If what Capcom is saying is true, we only need 1 Street Fighter V disc. Then I think it's worth it. You'll have a head start with learning the new mechanics.

In the past few days, fans noticed that Capcom made some changes to Rainbow Mika’s animation and to the camera angles of her cutscenes in the latest version of Street Fighter V‘s beta.

The tweaks partly hid her well known “butt slap” taunt, and changed the split inflicted to the opponent at the end of a tag-team move with Nadeshiko.

This caused a reaction within the fanbase, and a petition has been launched in order to convince Capcom to revert the change. At the moment it has gathered 1,954 signatures, and it can be found here.

Interestingly, Capcom also seems to have tweaked Cammy’s intro animation, that previously showcased her crotch area a lot more closely.

CAPCOM have today announced that a limited edition Day One Steelbook for Street Fighter V on PlayStation 4 will be available to purchase at retail across Europe when the game launches on 16th February 2016.

The steelbook contains all the content from the game, packaged up in a special Ryu themed box which showcases the titles iconic China stage. A must have keep sake for all Street Fighter fans collections, though potential buys are urged to check their individual retailers and local Capcom community channels in the coming weeks for stockist and pricing details.

Street Fighter V will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC from February 16 2016.
