Dragon Quest Heroes Day One Edition revealed by Square Enix Online Store

The Day One Edition appears to include an exclusive “Slime Weapon Set,” which were weapons limited to specific retailers in Japan. (Square Enix e-Store pre-orders got the Slime Sword, Amazon Japan got the Slime Axe, etc.)

Dragon Quest, one of the most iconic RPG series from Japan, will arrive in the form of a full-scale action RPG for the first time in the history of the franchise.

In Dragon Quest Heroes, the protagonists must rise up against insurmountable odds, challenging swarms of enemies and conquering gigantic monsters in an exhilarating action game. Filled with characters and monsters designed by world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama, Dragon Quest Heroes is brought to the PlayStation 4 in beautiful HD graphics.

Both Yuji Horii, the general director and creator of Dragon Quest, and Koichi Sugiyama, the composer closely tied to the series since its first installment and creator of countless musical masterpieces instilled in the memory of series fans, are closely involved in bringing this title to life.

Square Enix has released a new story trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below.

In Dragon Quest Heroes, players can join forces with franchise favorite characters, including Dragon Quest IV‘s Alena and Dragon Quest VIII‘s Yangus, and take on hordes of monsters. Each of the game’s 12 playable characters has unique abilities and play diferently from each other. Kiryl’s lance, for example, keeps monsters at boy, while Nera’s magic bubbles blast monsters away. New characters, such as the two protagonists, King Doric, and scientist Isla, will also appear.

Nakaka-OC laruin nito. Yung main character ko (Luceus) nasa level 41 na. Yung iba ko nasa level 34 pa lang kasi naiiwan sa Stonecloud.

Nagustuhan ko naman ito. Parang RPG rin na Dynastry Warriors ang laban. Pipili ka ng main character, yung lalaki o babae, tapos yun lagi ang nasa party mo pero pwede mo ring ma-control yung ibang characters.

Mission based yung gameplay. Sa 1 area, yung 1 mission, small part lang. Then next part naman. Hanggang mabuo yung buong area. Around 15minutes or less ang 1 mission.

May weapon at armor upgrades din tulad ng usual DQ game.

in terms of gameplay parang hawig din sila nung mga old school rpg FF games or kung naglalaro ka nung goldensun sa ds/3ds, kasi you control certain # of characters of which you can customize (stats/equips/skills) also..

medyo nanibago lang ako nung unang salang ko (nasanay kasi sa 3ds maliit screen )

Sa nakatapos na nito, sino ang 4 character-combo na pandurog nyo?

Ang pinili ko main character ay si Aurora at palagi ko kasama si Jessica, Nera at Maya.
Nasa early level 30s pa lang mga characters ko.

Luceus yung napili kong main character pero lagi kong sinasama sa party si Aurora.

Luceus, Aurora, Jessica, Terry.

Minsan si King Doric imbes na Terry. Wide area yung attack niya e.
