Raiden Joins Mortal Kombat X
NetherRealm Studios have announced another character that will be in Mortal Kombat X—Raiden, the god of thunder. The character was announced this afternoon after the Injustice: Gods Among Us finals concluded at EVO 2014.
Raiden has three variations—Thunder God (with Electrocution Combos), Displacer (with a focus Teleportation moves) and Storm Lord (with Lightning Traps).
Mortal Kombat X will be released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2015. You can watch a trailer for Raiden above, courtesy MKIceAndFire, who captured it off the EVO stream.

New character? Jeezzzzz... He's an old recurring character in MK games, on and off. Been playing him since I was in Grade 3, LOL!

Mortal Kombat X trailer confirms return of Kano
Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat X, confirming the return of Kano.
In Mortal Kombat X, Kano is older, but is deadlier than ever with all of his cybernetic upgrades. Like all characters, he three variations: Cutthroat, Cybernetic, and Commando.
In the Cutthroat variation, Kano pounds on his cybernetic heart to power up his attacks, and his enhanced knife-fighting skills allow for a number of unique combos.
In the Cybernetic variation, Kano has an arsenal of eye laser and grenade attacks, allowing him to strike long range and defend against aerial attacks.
And in the Commando variation, Kano’s grappling skills are enhanced, allowing him to counter both high and low attacks.

Kung Lao’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat X was revealed through a magazine report a while ago, and now we have a clear look at him, courtesy of series co-creator Ed Boon.
Boon tweeted an image of Kung Lao via his personal Twitter, which is the same high-resolution screenshot that was provided to Games Master magazine for their reveal.
Kung Lao, like every other character in Mortal Kombat X, has three variations. We’ll report more details on the character as they are announced.
