At this point kasi brand name na talaga ang Dragon Quest sa Japan. Kumbaga RPG version ng Call of Duty.

Also, aside from DQ9 and DQ10, traditional RPG talaga ang DQ series so kahit mga tao na hindi na naglalaro ng games, linalaro pa nila iyung DQ series because of the familiarity. Like DIablo 3 or Starcraft 2, you have people who have not played any games for years suddenly playing again.

Tsaka oo, isa na dyan si Toriyama.

Pati yata yung main theme music from the first Dragon Quest hanggang sa latest eh yun pa rin. Medyo nakalimutan ko na yung ending neto pero so far this is the best story sa mga games from Level-5, may sense of great adventure unlike some other games from Level-5.

Classic gameplay and fond memories ang nagdadala sa game na ito kaya maski napaghulihan na ng milya-milya pagdating sa graphics at gameplay innovation, patok pa rin sa Japan. Pero kung titingnan mo ang sales figures ng FF at DQ sa Japan, halos magkalapit na lang din.

Sadly ako lang ata nakalaro dito ng older dq titles sa forum na ito hehee (mula dq1 to dq4 sa nes, then dq5 to dq6 sa snes) masasabi ko lang na mas better series ito sa ff, saka dito talaga makikita yung classic dungeon rpg

Anyways sa versions ng dq na nalaro ko iton dq8 pa rin yun panalo sa kin dahil mas naging engaging lalo sa story ng characters hehehe

I played all, pero I have to admit di ko natapos lahat. DQ is all about being classic and basic. In terms of innovation, magig sa graphics, sounds at gameplay, napaghuhulihan na sya. Of course, it does not mean na panget at hindi sya enjoyable.

Played and finished these:
DQ 1 on SNES
DQ 2 on SNES
DQ 3 on NES
DQ 4 on NES
DQ 5 on SNES
DQ 6 on SNES
DQ 7 on PS1
DQ 8 on PS2

Pero nag-start ako sa DQ 3 then DQ 4.. after that tsaka pa lang ako naghanap ng DQ 1, DQ 2 then tuloy-tuloy na.
Kaya sana lang, please naman Toriyama-sama, give us another DQ.

Hmmm... baka hindi na ako interesado sa remakes lalo na kung hindi sa PS3. Besides, wala din ako 3DS at iba pa consoles/handhelds. PS3 lang. :sweat:

OT, DQ10 eh sa Wii at WiiU at Online siya. Start na siya sa JP last Aug pa. Pag nag ka NA ver nito ay lalaruin ko rin.

Re DQVIII, natapos ko lang yung both ending at naka 4 na dragon lang ako sa post game. Nakaktuwa rin alchemy at yung monster team mo na ilalaban sa ibang monster. Monster hunting ay nakaka aliw din.

Kauumpisa ko lang ng larong ito. 1 nagustuhan ko, may widescreen! :mrgreen:

Pareho ng developers ng Rogue Galaxy at cel-shaded graphics din. Dahil katatapos ko lang nung RG, hinahanap ko tuloy yung mga gameplay elements tulad ng mabilis na pacing ng battles, yung marks ng destination, yung arrows ng items/characters na ma-inspect o makakausap mo, yung summary ng story pagka-load ng game.
