PlayStation Vita Firmware Thread

Never pa ako na experience ng lockup sa wifi unit ko so malamang its more of the 3g/wifi types, malay ko. Pero ang pinakatopak ng unit ko di nagpapakita kung nagchacharge ang vita ko habang nakakabit sa pc ko. Yung icon ng battery walang motion na nagchacharge.

PlayStation Vita got its second post-release firmware update. The update takes the system from version 1.51 to version 1.52.

As with the previous update, this is just a small bug fix.

Sony did not say what exactly the update fixes. However, a number of Vita owners are saying via Twitter and blogs and so-forth that the update fixes a version 1.51 bug where the 3G system would not recognize your SIM card.

...diba may member dito na napapalit unit nya dahil di madetect zim nya? baka dito na yun ma fix.

Simula nung firmware 1.5 d na sya nag chacharge pag nakaopen un psv habang nakakabit sa pc or ps3. Dapat nakapatay.

Kaso nagtataka talaga ako since 4 days nagana yung sim slot then sa 5th day NO SIM error na

wow really, damn bakit nila iniba yung function. Strange feature that they disabled.

For usb lang naman. Mabuti n ren un para d abusuin (isa na ako dun) habang nag chacharge sa usb, makupad kase magcharge sa usb. Para na ren mapahaba un buhay ng batt. Pero pede ka pa ren maglaro habang nag chacharge using the power cable.

mga mam at sir, may bagong update nanaman ang vita, nag update na ba kayo?

ok bibili na ba ko ng vita this week base on all these update problem parang napapaisip tuloy ako kung hintay ko na lang yung NA release para open na rin psn sa us excited na kasi ako kaya lang esep esep muna ako.hayz.
Plan ko pa naman 3g/wifi sabi after 5th day sim error na daw.

Yup. Just updated last night. It'll supposedly fix the No Sim error (not that it'll do me any good... LOL).

It's close to Feb already bro, so you can choose to wait. Based on the prices I see online with regards to the NA version, malamang magbababa ng price yung mga units here sa Pinas. But, it's still your choice.

The new firmware also fixes the sim error so it shouldn't affect your choice na 3G/Wifi na.

Naka-US account ako and I just updated it using the Vita's Wifi update method. Sa first update ko before, I updated it using my PS3. I don't think it matters what account you put in. It searches automatically ata what firmware it needs. Unlike sa PS3, wala siyang way to download the firmware itself. Para siguro hinde mahack yung mga firmware releases.

sir it means na wifi capable update lang po pede di pede magupdate using 3g kasi putol wifi ko ngayon and i sacrifice it to buy me self psvita medyo matatagalan pa siguro pagpapakabit.

I don't think it's possible to update using 3G kasi it's not in the options eh. The options, if I remember correctly (I don't have my Vita in hand at the moment), is Update using Wifi, Update by connecting to a PS3 and Update by connecting to a PC.

...hindi pwede ata mag update ang 3G dahil 20mb lang kaya ng 3G sa psvita. tama ba? or depende sa subscriber?

Thanks sa link siguro yung download to pc na lang muna habang walang wi fi connection dito.

EDIT:na update ko na kaso walang wifi dito sa bahay,,thru PC lang...

ganyan din ginawa ko kelangan nakaconnect pc sa net para maupdate guys wala bang off yung sleep i mean 1,3,5 minutes lang siya,and pano ko malilink yung vita sa pc para makapagcopy ng music at pictures pwede rin ba yung nakaconnect sa pc while linking kasi tpinaglalogin ako sa psn ko ayaw mayproblema ba yung psn ngayon kasi ayaw lumabas nung captcha.

Hanapin mo un PS Vita folder sa My Document mo. Dun mo lagay mga gusto mong ilipat na files. Dun ren mapupunta mga files na ibabackup mo galing sa PSV.
