I'm surprised that this game isn't much hyped. Hehe.

An open world/free roaming game with a new concept (in terms of setting)...dapat ina-anticipate ito, fan ng open world o hindi.

Grabe pala yung May, this game on the 18th tapos iilang araw lang UFC 2010 na. This is gonna be a rare day one purchase for me.
Medyo weird nga din na di masyadong hyped to dito. Sa Gamesradar at IGN isa to sa most anticipated nila. Di kaya masyadong mahilig sa Westerns ang mga Pinoy?

i guess it's not hyped as much as GTA4 since we all know what happened to that one..too much hype can destroy a game...i'm not saying GTA4 is a bad game..it's just not what i expected...so i guess people don't want to hype Red Dead that much since people don't want to be disappointed..

besides we don't know yet if the game will deliver..not that i don't like the game though..i'm actually excited for it..

Hype na hype ako dito sa RDR because of 2 reasons..

1. Fan ako ng open world/free roaming games.
2. New type of setting, sawa na kasi ako sa cities (kaya next time ko nalang bibilin yung JC2). Hehe. Pero sure buy ang GTA EfLC para warm-up for RDR.

I actually liked GTA4. Yung San Andreas yung di ko masyadong trip, parang masyadong gimmicky na eh. Factor din siguro na last year ko lang nalaroat wala pa kong PS3 nung panahon prerelease hype, so di ako masyadong naapektuhan ng positive or negative hype. Sa 4 kasi nagustuhan yung characters, and just about the most satisfying gunplay I've experienced on the PS3 so far.

So back on topic, eto naman reasons ko for being excited about this:
1) It's from the guys who brought us GTA4, so we can be sure that this is gonna be a quality game
2) After reading Stephen King's Dark Tower novels, medyo matagal na sa isip ko na badass maging gunslinger, so hopefully this game will help me fulfill those fantasies haha

Ito siguro next ko bibilin. Di ko masayado nagustuhan yung previous games, pero sana maincorporate nila mabuti yung open world gameplay kasi fan ako ng GTA series
